Kathleen Dawe moved to the NW from Maine and has lived in the Everett area since 1980. She holds a BFA degree, her career background is in the field of graphic design. In 2005 she began working with a faux painting company and also has her own business painting murals. Her company is called The Painted Wall. She volunteers as a docent at the Museum of NW Art in La Conner and has designed and taught a class in NW Art History for the UW Extension Program- OLLI. Other interests are exploring art museums, hiking in the mountains and skiing. Her personal art is based on her love of nature and interest in preserving the environment. The piano she painted is titled “Play With Me” and features a jazz and blues theme.
