Pipe Gallery
The pipe gallery is located below the filters and runs the length of the filter room.
Each filter is connected to a series of color-coded pipes. The No. 7 filter is connected to the pipes in this photo.
To crack the color code, move your mouse over the pipes in this photo and watch for the message box to pop up. Washwater - The dark blue pipe brings in the water to wash the filters. Filtered Water - The light blue pipe is the filtered water pipe and carries the water to the clearwell for disinfection. Flocculated Water - This light green pipe carries the water from the Flocculation Basins to the filters. Flocculated Water - This light green pipe carries the water from the Flocculation Basins to the filters. Backwash Water - After the filters have been backwashed, the dirty water runs through the brown pipe to the Washwater Pond.
