Quality Control is the most important phase of drinking water processing and the one we take most seriously. The Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Health set the standards for drinking water safety. The City of Everett consistently meets or exceeds these standards.

Please read our current Drinking Water Quality Report to see detailed results of the many tests that are routinely performed.

The Control Room is the life-support of the entire plant. This central location monitors everything in the plant and even tells the operators how much water is being used. For instance, each Flocculation Basin has its own set of controls that indicate which vault is in operation.
