BRIEFING ITEM:

(1) CB 1207-24– 1st Reading – Adopt the Proposed Ordinance of the City of Everett, Washington, providing for the condemnation, appropriation, taking and/or damaging of certain land, property and/or property rights for the repair and construction of roadway improvements along Lowell-Larimer Road; and directing the City Attorney to prosecute the appropriate action and proceedings in the manner provided by law for said condemnation (3rd and final reading on 7-18-12)

(2) CB 1207-25-1st Reading – Adopt the Proposed Ordinance closing the special construction fund entitled “Key Bank/Bank of Everett Shell Improvement Project,” Fund 342, Program 012 as established by Ordinance No. 3046-07, and amended by Ordinance 3132-09 (3rd and final reading on 7/18/12)

CONSENT ITEMS:

(3) Adopt Resolution No. ____ authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $3,910,553.18 for the period of June 16, 2012 through June 22, 2012

(4) Adopt Resolution No. ____ authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $3,460,052.01 for the period ending June 16, 2012

(5) Authorize the closure of the alley between Wetmore and Rockefeller from Wall to Hewitt on July 22, 2012, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., for a Tricycle Relay Race sponsored by Tony V’s Garage Saloon & Eatery

(6) Authorize the closure of Bond Street, Federal to Wall, on July 7, 2012, 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m., for a Car Show sponsored by the Anchor Pub

PUBLIC HEARING:

(7) CB 1206-23– 3rd and final Reading – Adopt the Proposed Ordinance relating to medical cannabis, amending Ordinance No. 3232-11, and extending the moratorium on collective gardens an additional 6 months

ACTION ITEMS:

(8) Adopt Resolution initiating and setting August 8, 2012, 6:30 p.m. as the date and time of the public hearing for the proposed vacation of a portion of Chestnut Street and 17th Street lying within the Plat of Riverdale Addition to Everett

(9) Award Bid for the construction of Water Main Improvement L – Hewitt Avenue to SRV Construction, Inc. in the amount of $848,159.13 including Washington State Sales Tax

(10) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interlocal Agreement with Snohomish County for use of the Emergency Support and Response Vessel

(11) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the 2011 Memorandum of Understanding with the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission regarding participation in the Target Zero Teams Project
