COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: (These items come before the City Council serving as a Council Committee of the Whole and are likely to be scheduled at a future meeting.)

(1) Grant final plat approval of the plat of Cascade Park.

(2) CB 1410-50 – 1st Reading – Adopt the Proposed Ordinance related to Public Nuisances, amending Ordinance Nos. 1554-89 as amended and 2840-05 (Chapters 8.20 and 8.60 EMC respectively.) (3rd and final reading on 11-19-14)

CONSENT ITEMS:

(3) Adopt resolution No. ____ authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $2,195,960.10 for the period of October 18, 2014 through October 24, 2014.

(4) Adopt Resolution No. ____ authorizing payrollclaims against the City of Everett in the amount of $3,395,224.22 for the period ending October 18, 2014.

PUBLIC HEARING:

(5) CB 1410-48 – 3rd and final Reading- Adopt the Proposed Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1671-89 (EMC Title 19), as amended, with a new subsection to be added to the B-3 zone for Upper Story Wall Signage and amending other related sections in the zoning code.

(6) CB 1410-49 – 3rd and final Reading - Adopt the Proposed Ordinance amending Sections 1, 2 and 4 of Ordinance No. 3380-14 which authorized a Pilot Project for Micro-housing or Trinity Lutheran College Students at the Southwest corner of Oakes and California.

ACTION ITEMS:

(7) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment 5 to the Professional Services Agreement withURS Corporation for design services for the Water Transmission Line 5 Replacement at the Pilchuck River in an amount not to exceed $69,900.00.

(8) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Client Services Agreement with Dataquest to provide background screening services on new hire candidates.

(9) Authorize the Mayor to sign the 2014-2015 Memorandum of Understanding with the Washington Traffic Safety Commission regarding participation in Target ZeroTeams high visibility enforcement traffic safety emphasis patrols in the amount of $23,900.00.

(10) Adopt Resolution relating to the Touchstone Hotel Project.
