The City of Everett hires employees also known as Day Laborers to occupy positions on a less than year round basis to cover seasonal peak workloads, emergency workloads of limited duration, necessary vacation relief, and other situations involivng fluctuating staff.  Seasonal peak workloads for all departments is March 1 through Nov. 30.

Seasonal employees may be subject to a Washington State background checks.
