The Planning Commission's next meeting is scheduled on February 3, 2015 in the William E. Moore Historic City Hall city council chambers at 6:30 p.m.
The Planning Commission is an advisory commission that makes recommendations to City Council, the Mayor and City departments on the City’s broad planning goals, policies and long-range plans.
Examples of these plans include the Comprehensive Plan, Shoreline Management Program, zoning code revisions and design guidelines.
The Planning Commission is made up of seven Everett residents appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council. Additionally, one member may be appointed by the Mayor and approved by Council to serve as an alternate. Planning Commission meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers located at 3002 Wetmore Avenue, as needed. All meetings are open to the public and are broadcast live on the Everett Channel.
