The next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for December 17, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Wall Street Building 8th Floor Hearing Room located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue in Everett.
The Everett Planning Commission is an advisory commission that makes recommendations to City Council, the Mayor and City departments on the City’s broad planning goals, policies and long-range plans.
Examples of these plans include the Comprehensive Plan, Shoreline Management Program, zoning code revisions and design guidelines.
The Planning Commission is made up of seven Everett residents appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council. Additionally, one member may be appointed by the Mayor and approved by Council to serve as an alternate. Planning Commission meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Planning Department Hearing Room as needed. All meetings are open to the public.
