2008 Amendments

Comprehensive Plan amendments include amendments to the text (policies, programs, and implementation measures) and land use map.  Many map amendments will also require a concurrent rezone, which is an amendment to the City’s Zoning Map.  Comprehensive Plan amendments are considered only once a year in compliance with State law.  The application deadline is generally near the end of June each year.  All Comprehensive Plan amendments and concurrent rezone applications for a given year move through the process together.
