"I hope that while so many people are out smelling the flowers, someone is taking the time to plant some." -Herbert Rappaport
If you've been downtown or around Forest Park in the summer months, you've seen how our annual planting efforts bring Everett to life each spring. Be a part of the effort.
Flowerize - Assist Parks staff in the planting of downtown containers and flower beds. Gardening Gloves and trowels will be provided, as well as coffee and refreshments. May 8, 2009; 8-9:30 a.m.
Thank you all for the great job you did this year. We appreciate you!
Mukilteo Boulevard - Help plant, like, a bazillion impatiens along Mukilteo Boulevard. Actually, it's right about 40,000. Which is still one heck of a lot of impatiens. June 6, 2009; 9-11 a.m.
Tree planting - If you are continually being told you have a knack for digging holes for yourself, this could be the job for you. Sites all over the city await young trees and native plants.
Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens - Talk about an opportunity for some schoolin’! Take what you learn and apply it to your own garden.
With our tool trailer, you will have all the tools needed to complete the job.
